Middle School and High School Youth Recreational Rowing
Spring 2024 Registration is here!
Come row with us!
Youth Rec is noncompetitive and practices two days each week.
Most of our youth began on the competitive team, with no experience. We recommend joining that team if the youth's schedule allows. It allows full immersion into the sport and they get to join their peers, (where some are also brand new to the sport), in competitions against other teams.
Rec is a great option when there are schedule limitations.
Middle School and High School Rec athletes will practice 2 days a week. The schedule and fees are detailed below.

Fayette County residents are assessed taxes by the county to pay for maintenance of recreational facilities like Lake McIntosh. Out-of-County youth sports participants are assessed an additional $20 to help pay for that upkeep. RGA transfers that required Impact Fee to the county.
Row Georgia is a year-round nonprofit rowing program proudly operating under the authority of Fayette County Parks and Recreation. Our facility is located on beautiful Lake McIntosh. The lake is owned and operated by Fayette County. Programs consist of spring, summer, fall, and winter seasons. Recreational rowing is a priority and we also offer competitive rowing. The program offers rowing for middle school, high school, and adults. Private lessons are based on availability.
Practices are held at Lake McIntosh, 3501 TDK Blvd. Peachtree City, Ga. We are a not-for-profit, 501c3 organization established in August 2015 to encourage and further the instruction, improvement, and competition in and the enjoyment of the art of rowing. Fees raised through our programs are used to fund coach salaries, equipment leases, insurance, and other operational expenses. All donations are tax -deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
