Fall 2025 Tryouts
Overview:
Tryouts will be held from August 11th to August 30th, 2025.
- Weekday sessions: 4:45PM – 7:15PM
- Saturday sessions: 8:00AM – 10:30AM
- No sessions on Sundays
- Wednesdays are optional, but strongly recommended for those seeking a seat on the "Gold" Crew.
- Attendance in Tryouts is a criteria of the selection process
- Participants under 16 years old may be considered for the Gold Crew on a case-by-case basis.

Who Should Attend?
- Youth athletes ages 13–18 (middle to high school)
- New and returning athletes - tryouts are mandatory for all participants in our competitive programs, including the Development Squad. Successful competitors must be committed to maintaining top fitness.
- Recreational (noncompetitive) rowers: Tryouts are not required for our 2-day-a-week rowing option.
No experience required - just bring your positive attitude and willingness to train hard and grow!
What to Expect
- Direct connection with our coaching staff
- Hands-on training using our competitive approach
- Endurance and fitness assessments
- Placement eligibility shared at the conclusion of tryouts - The $150 Tryout fee will be deducted from your Fall 2025 season dues if you are placed and enroll for Fall.
- All registration requirements must be met prior to participation in Tryouts.
- The season begins Wednesday 9/3 for Gold and Thursday 9/4 for Green, the week immediately following the end of Tryouts.
